A Mess
Right now I am a mess. There is just too much going on. And on top of that I just found out my grandma (my Dad's mom) is in hospice with less than a week to live. I have been praying and praying for my Dad and my uncles. It was less than 3 years ago that they went thru the same thing with their father. If you would, please pray with me.

Life, interrupted
It's not that I am overly busy, but I just am not sure how to capture everything that I have been doing lately. I really feel very blessed at the moment and I am really enjoying just breathing in that feeling.
My small group has been going really well and we have been working together to grow our relationship with God. I love being able to watch people I admire walk with their Savior!!! I feel so privileged to be a part of that group.
I have been able to have a lot of fun with friends lately too! This past weekend I was able to watch Lynnette do her thing on the tennis court... and win!! I got to meet some of the people she plays tennis with and chat over dinner, which was great. I am also watching Lucie (who I have watched a few times before and blogged about) so I was able to take her on walks around the block as well as a walk to Lenox Park with Erinleigh and her dog Bauer. I hadn't been to Lenox Park before so that was fun too... it was beautiful!!!
Recently I went with Victor and a group of old co-workers from Cbeyond to Luckie Lounge to chat and catch up. The sun has come out and warmed up Atlanta enough for me to be sitting on my roof again so I have been enjoying some relaxing time in the sun. I have also enjoyed a few dinners on my roof with friends. I love being able to share the view from up there with others!!
On a bigger note... I have been praying a lot about something else in my life... the possibility of settling down. In a condo. A few weeks ago Victor questioned me (for like the 100th time) about why I haven't purchased in Atlanta yet. Generally I have a lot of great answers why not. However this time I didn't. That got me thinking. I am feeling like Atlanta is home, I love my friends, my job can't be beat, and I am financially ready to have a place of my own. So, I have been working with Marcus, who is not only a great friend but a realtor, on house hunting. I have looked a lot online and have talked with a few places about acquiring a mortgage. Tonight we are supposed to be looking at a few places. Wish me luck and send a few prayers my way. This is just such a huge decision and I don't want to screw this up. Luckily it is a buyers market so I should have a few options once we have done some looking!!

Good Friday
I have been busy. As always right?!?! But, I wanted to stop for a minute and share with you what went down on Good Friday. I mean, at my church.
I was lucky enough to be able to volunteer with the SPD (the people who make the service happen at the church) team and get to be a stage hand. Something I have never done before. I got to be at church early, sit with the band (very intimidating), and eat dinner with the crew. Then service started... at 7:05pm. A little late, but we had to accommodate for all the people still arriving. Then about 10 minutes into the service everything goes black. I am on the team, I know this wasn't scheduled. The power goes out. Can you imagine?? What do you do?? Well, what our amazing SPD team did for a back up was get a bull horn. Could you imagine being in a crowd of 3,000+ listening to a pastor speak from a bull horn in the dark??
Good thing we didn't have to... the power came back on a minute later and we were able to go on as scheduled. At the end of service, all the people I ask said it was a powerful message and when I asked about the power outage they had all forgotten it. Why would they forget??? Check this out...

Amazing stuff, isn't it! I love my God. I love my Savior. I love my Redeemer.
And I love my church.
And I love my church.

I just love this little guy...
So, my brother now has his puppy. And Dan better feel very lucky that I flew home and didn't drive... cause if I could have I would have tried to steal him for myself! Yeah, yeah, yeah I know he is a hunting dog so he will prefer the open mountains of Colorado to the cramped stylings of my apartment. But is he not the cutest!!
And here was Doc's and my favorite activity... sleeping on the couch!!
I had a blast this weekend with my family!! In addition to spending time with Doc, I got to meet Dan's friend Nate, watch my cousins (Alex, Brennan & Colton) play in a 3-on-3 tournament, keep score with Wes and my Mom, watch the Michigan State basketball game, chat with Vicki, watch Brennan's confirmation, eat at Bavarian Inn and all in all just had a blast!!
The pics above aren't enough for you either?? Check more out here!!
